My sister Liz and her kids Olivia and Owen came to visit this summer from Vermont and Max was in love. He would run up to them waving his hands saying "hi! hi! hi! hi!" whenever he saw them. He loves his cousins! It was so fun spending time with them!

Today is our 5th anniversary. I honestly can't believe it's been 5 years. It seems like it was just yesterday, but then again it seems like we've always been together. Weird.

We've accomplished a lot, seen a lot, and grown up a ton, but I think the best part is knowing this guy is mine for eternity!

Happy Anniversary, Chad! I'm so glad you chose me!

This kid...

cracks me up!

Max is growing so fast and his crazy personality is coming through more and more each day.

He loves his binky and blankey and has melt downs when they are not available...we are working on it. We are hoping the binky gets lost when we move...

He loves Maeby, a little too much! He is pulling her tail, chasing her, petting her, and trying to snuggle her all the time. Poor girl.

He wakes up each morning with a high pitch scream that makes me want to go hide. He is finally sleeping through the night, but he wakes up most days before 7 a.m. No sleeping in for us!

He LOVES to go outside and play. He will stand at the door and say "Go!"

He loves his hat. I put it on him when we go outside to play and he now says "hat" and puts it on and thinks that means we get to go outside to play.

He loves the Little Mermaid, he sees the video case and starts singing, "ahhhhhhh, ahhhhhh, ahhhhh!" His other favorite is Nemo but only if he gets to sit on our bed to watch it.

He has good taste in music. He LOVES Kelly Clarkson, COLDPLAY, Pink, and as of yesterday, Indigo Girls and Tori Amos. Oh, and last week he was singing along to Josh Groban.

He loves vegetables, especially broccoli, peas, and sweet potatoes. He loves to "dip" his food in anything, and loves spicy things. He tried some hot salsa, even though I told him it was hot. He dipped his chip and said "hot" then "mmmm" and went in for more. If he sees something that looks good or a treat "mmmmmm".

He loves to jump on the trampoline, spin in circles and can now do a somersault. He is sooo active! He keeps us running.

He is finally starting to cuddle, and when we pick him up, he will rest his head on our shoulder and pat us on the back. So sweet!

We love this boy! Even Maeby....because she eats his food.

Girls Night

I grew up with great friends. I lost touch with a lot of them after I moved out of the ward, but I have reconnected with them in the past couple years. I has been so great to get to know all these great girls all over again.

I hosted a girls night a few weeks ago so we could catch up, see new babies and just spend some time together. I had any one who wanted to send some old pictures through the years and I put together a little slide show for us. It was funny, embarrassing, and so fun to see how we've all grown and come into our own. There were some seriously hideous photos (mostly just of me, holy cow, I had some bad hair!!) but it sure makes you feel good about where you are now!
